This policy explains how JJM Educations (“JJM”, “we”) handles personal data collected on jjmeducations.com. We collect only what we need to give you counselling about online courses.
What we collect
- Details you give us in our forms: name, mobile number, email (optional), the course you are interested in, your state and any message you write.
- How you reached us: the page you submitted the form on, the first page you visited, the referring website and campaign tags in the link (such as UTM parameters or ad click IDs).
- Technical data: device type and browser information, and anonymous usage statistics collected by Google Analytics.
- Your consent: the date and time you agreed to be contacted and the version of the consent text you saw (currently consent-v2).
Why we use it
- To call, message or email you about the courses you asked about.
- To help you compare universities and, if you choose, to guide you through applying.
- To understand which pages and campaigns help learners, so we can improve the website.
- To prevent spam and abuse of our forms.
We use your data only with your consent, which you give by ticking the box on our forms. You can withdraw it at any time.
Calls and messages, including DND numbers
When you submit a form, you agree that JJM may contact you by call, SMS, WhatsApp or email about courses and admissions, even if your number is on the National Do Not Call (DND) register. We contact you only about your enquiry. Tell us at any time to stop, and we will.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run our website and tools: Google (form storage and analytics) and Cloudflare (hosting and spam protection). They process data on our behalf.
- Universities, only when you ask us to help you apply to a specific university.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete it, or
- stop contacting you.
Email contact@jjmeducations.com from the email address or with the mobile number you used. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Your browser also stores small items (such as the first page you visited) so we know how you found us when you submit a form. We do not use advertising cookies at present.
Learners under 18
If you are under 18, please fill our forms with a parent or guardian, who should also agree to be contacted.
Security
We limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it to help you, and we use providers with strong security practices.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change and show the new date at the top.
